The Manitoba Moose face the Milwaukee Admirals for their fourth of eight meetings this season. This will be the second meeting between these two teams at the MTS Centre. The Moose have gone 3-0-0 against the Admirals this season.

Moose on home ice:

Sunday afternoon’s game will be the second time the Moose have played at the MTS Centre this week. The Moose have gone 3-5-1 at home this season. The matchup against the Admirals will be the second game of their current four game home stand. The Moose have 29 home games remaining this season, eight of which occur over a two week span from Dec 31-Jan 13. Manitoba has currently won three of their last four games at home.

Goals in Ones, Who’s First:

In the three games against the Admirals this season, the final score has been decided by a single goal. All of the game-winning goals came in the second period.  In the first two games the Moose have been the first team to score, but last night it was the Admirals who scored the opening goal. With the Moose coming back to win it signified the first time this season the Moose have won the game when their opponents opened the scoring. Prior to last night the Moose were 0-12-1-0 when they have failed to score the opening goal.

Tough Contender:

Moose forward Chase De Leo scored his fourth goal of the season on Saturday night against the Milwaukee Admirals. De Leo leads all Moose rookies in scoring and currently sits second on the team in points behind teammate JC Lipon. De Leo now has 12 points on the season (4G, 8A).

Cool Comrie:

Moose goalie Eric Comrie has stood strong against the Milwaukee Admirals winning both games he has played against the team. In each game he has only allowed two goals and has stopped 30 of 32 shots on goal. Both games Comrie has won against Milwaukee also happened within two weeks of each other.
