Moose present proceeds from Firefighter Appreciation Day

Winnipeg, MB – Manitoba Moose Vice-President of Operations Dan Hursh and Mick E. Moose stopped by Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service No. 1 Station on July 7 to present the funds raised by the team’s Firefighter Appreciation day on Jan. 15.

The Moose wore special edition firefighter themed jerseys when they faced off against the Chicago Wolves, notching a 4-1 win over their Central Division rivals.  The jerseys were auctioned at the game and online and, combined with a special ticket offer, raised $8,232.53 for the Manitoba Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
