Lemieux gets call from Jets

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have recalled forward Brendan Lemieux from the Manitoba Moose.

Lemieux, 21, has five points (3G, 2A) in four games for the Moose this season. The Denver, Colorado native made his AHL debut in 2015-16 and has totaled 27 points (17G, 10A) in 70 games for Manitoba. Lemieux led the Moose with 130 penalty minutes in 2016-17.

Lemieux was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the second round (31st overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft and was traded to the Jets on Feb. 11/15.
