By: Manitoba Moose Staff | Published: February 26th 2017

The Manitoba Moose (19-27-3-4) draw the curtain on a four-game home stand this afternoon when they wrap up a back-to-back with the San Antonio Rampage (21-27-4-1) at 2 p.m. CT.

Last Game
Saturday night was a great bounce back effort from Manitoba as the Moose rebounded from a slow start and managed to come away with a 4-2 win. It was a career game for rookie Kyle Connor, who netted his first career hat trick. The Shelby Township, MI product is tied for second on the team in goals with 11.

Flash Back
Today’s game is the final contest between the Moose and Rampage. Manitoba got the season series off to a good start on Jan. 20, registering a 2-0 win. The next night was a different story as San Antonio out paced Manitoba, 4-2. A trio of Manitoba players picked up a pair of points during the first two games – Dan De Salvo (0G, 2A), Kevin Czuczman (1G, 1A) and Jack Roslovic (1G, 1A).

Lucky Number Four
This afternoon’s game against San Antonio marks the final contest in a four-game home stand for Manitoba. Since returning to Winnipeg, the Moose have a 5-1-0-1 record in the final game in a set of four at MTS Centre. The Moose have one more four game stand left this season from April 4-9 against Grand Rapids and Tucson to close out their home schedule.

Getting in Work
Eric Comrie has been a workhorse for the Moose in recent weeks, starting 17 of 19 games since Jan. 13. Over that span, Comrie holds a 5-10-0-2 record with a 2.57 GAA and a 0.918 SV%. That workload pushed the second-year pro into fourth in the AHL in 'minutes played' with 2110:50 over 36 appearances. Comrie is also third in shots against, facing 1101 this season.

San Antonio’s Story
The Rampage are in the midst of a month where all but one game is on the road – and it hasn’t been kind. San Antonio is 0-7-0-1 in their last seven games and sits eighth in the Pacific Division. Scoring goals has been a battle for the Colorado Avalanche affiliate who average 2.46 goals per game and have the 27th ranked powerplay at 14.3 per cent. Rocco Grimaldi leads the offence, pacing San Antonio with 37 points (20G, 17A) in 53 games. Goaltender Spencer Martin has carried the load between the pipes this season. In 33 appearances he carries a 3.03 GAA and .902 SV percentage.
