Moose release Nolan Zajac

Winnipeg, MB – The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has released defenceman Nolan Zajac from his professional tryout agreement.
Zajac, 24, appeared in one game for the Moose on his tryout, scoring his first AHL goal. The Winnipeg, MB native also has one assist in three AHL games with the Hershey Bears this season and 41 points (9G, 32A) in 49 games for the Toledo Walleye (ECHL). Zajac is tied for sixth in ECHL rookie scoring and tied for fourth among ECHL defencemen in points and assists.
