Moose sign Jake Kulevich

Winnipeg, MB – The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has signed defenceman Jake Kulevich to an amateur tryout agreement.

Kulevich, 24, joins the Moose following a four season career at Colgate University (NCAA).  The Salem, MA native posted 60 points (15G, 45A) in 150 career games at Colgate.  Kulevich captained the Raiders this season while registering a career high 22 points (6G, 16A) in 37 games to lead Colgate in scoring.  He was one of 66 NCAA players nominated for the 2017 Hobey Baker Memorial Award.

In 2015-16, the 6’3, 210 lbs defender picked up 14 points (4G, 10A) in 37 games.  Kulevich was named Colgate’s Best Defensive Player and co-recipient of the Best Defenceman award for the second year in a row.

The Manitoba Moose return to game action Friday night at MTS Centre when they host the Rockford IceHogs in a 7 p.m. CT matchup.  Tickets for the St. Patrick’s Day game are available at moosehockey.com/tickets.
