Moose visit St.Amant to donate proceeds from Autism Awareness campaign

By: Manitoba Moose Staff | Published: August 23rd 2017

Each year, the Manitoba Moose do their part in promoting Autism Awareness during the month of March. This past season, the team partnered with St.Amant once again for their Autism Awareness campaign, which was presented by Red River Co-op.

At all home games throughout March, fans had an opportunity to purchase autographed player puzzles for $20.  At the end of the month, fans also had a chance to bid on game-worn autism awareness jerseys through in-game and online auction, which were worn during the March 24th game versus the Milwaukee Admirals.

On Wednesday, August 23rd, Dan Hursh, Vice President of Operations for the Manitoba Moose, presented a cheque for $15,364.24 to the staff at St.Amant. Moose staff and the media in attendance were also invited to tour the early learning classroom, which was made by possible by the proceeds from the Moose Autism Awareness Campaign.

The Moose would like to thank their fantastic fans for all the support of this community initiative!
