The Moose wrapped up their final regular season game on Saturday night against the Texas Stars.

Playing their second game in as many nights, the Moose ran into a well-rested Stars team that took advantage.

Texas got a goal in each period to give themselves a 3-0 lead.

The Moose battled hard all night and finally broke through with a goal from Dan DeSalvo with 3:25 to play.

That was as close as the Moose would get as Greg Rallo added an empty net goal to give the Stars a 4-1 win.

DeSalvo’s goal extended his point streak to eight games. During his point streak he has three goals and six assists for nine points. In his 17 games since joining the Moose he had 14 points (5G, 9A).

Goaltender Eric Comrie made 19 saves in the game. He finishes 7th in the AHL in minutes played with 2600:16 and 4th in saves with 1,323. The rest of the AHL regular season schedule concludes on Sunday.

The entire Manitoba Moose organization would like to thank all the fans for their tremendous support throughout the season. We are thrilled to be home and look forward to seeing you next season.
