Game Story
The Manitoba Moose (2-3-1) and Toronto Marlies (4-1-0) closed out their two game set on Sunday.  Toronto started the scoring early for the second straight game.  Frederik Gauthier sprung Kasperi Kapenen down the wing and the speedy forward launched a wrister just inside the far post.  The Moose rebounded quickly from the goal, putting nine shots on Antoine Bibeau the rest of the period.  Despite some good looks, Bibeau held the Moose off the board as Manitoba went to the first intermission trailing 1-0.

The second period saw the Marlies break the game open in a 3:12 span.  Toronto three scored goals off the sticks of Justin Holl, Colin Smith and Byron Froese to build a 4-0 advantage.  Brendan Leipsic had a pair of assists in the quick run.  Ondrej Pavelec made 17 saves in the period to keep the Marlies from adding to their advantage further.

The third period saw both teams close down offensive opportunities.  The Moose held the Marlies to just six shots in the period, but on the flip-side, Toronto contained Manitoba to a similar count.  With the Moose unable to find a way past Antoine Bibeau, the Toronto goaltender earned his first shutout of the season in a 4-0 Marlies win.
