Moose sign pair of forwards
By: Manitoba Moose Staff | Published: March 21st 2017Winnipeg, MB – The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has signed forwards Kale Kessy and Rob Flick to professional tryout agreements.
Kessy, 24, played 12 games on previous stints with the Moose this season. The Shanavon, SK product has one assist and 14 penalty minutes. The former Arizona Coyotes fourth round pick has 23 points (11G, 12A) and 72 penalty minutes in 32 games with Manitoba’s ECHL affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers, this season.
Flick, 25, has 59 points (29G, 30A) in 59 games with the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) this season. The London, ON native has played 279 AHL games in his career, posting 70 points (38G, 32A) along with 439 penalty minutes with Portland, Providence and Rockford. Flick’s most productive AHL season came in 2014-15 when Flick scored 19 goals and tallied 24 points in 65 games with Providence. Flick was a fourth round pick (120th overall) of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
