Celebrating Women in Sport Job Shadow Program

As part of our ‘Celebrating Women in Sport’ game, presented by Canada Life, on Sunday, March 26th, the Manitoba Moose are excited to announce the return of the Celebrating Women in Sport Job Shadow Program. This two-day program introduces women to the wide variety of roles within the sports industry and helps to create a professional network for participants to use within their career planning process

Who should apply?

  • Must self-identify as a female
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 30
  • Must be a resident of Manitoba
  • Must be able to commit to the two days scheduled (Friday, March 24th and Sunday, March 26th)

Program Breakdown:

Friday, March 24th – Office Day

9:00 am Arrive at and tour the True North Sports + Entertainment office
10:00 am Tour of Canada Life Centre
10:30 am Watch game day skate and post-practice media
12:00 pm Lunch with various female staff of True North Sports + Entertainment
1:00 pm Tour of the Manitoba Moose locker room
1:30 pm Presentation and networking opportunity with various departments across the organization
3:00 pm Resume workshop with TNSE People and Culture department
4:00 pm Day recap & game day preperations
4:30 pm End of day 1

Sunday, March 26th – Moose Game Day

11:00 amArrive at True North Sports + Entertainment office11:30 amProfessional Headshot Session12:00 pmPress box meal1:00 pm to end of gameStation through and witness various departments’ game day tasks leading up to, during and after the game including marketing, digital content, communications, broadcasting, game production and more.5:00 pm (est.)On ice photo opportunity & end of program debrief6:00 pm (est.)End of day 2
