The Manitoba Moose will play their second of eight meetings this season against the Iowa Wild at the MTS Centre. The Moose lead the season series 1-0-0-0 after a 4-3 win yesterday.

Hot at Home:

The Moose have had their greatest success recently at home improving their record at home to 6-5-1-1. In their last eight games at home the Moose have a record of 6-1-0-1. This series kicked off a critical eight game home stand for the Moose which will see Iowa, Grand Rapids, Toronto and Lake Erie visit the MTS Centre for two games each.

Comrie at Home:

Goaltender Eric Comrie has been excellent at the MTS Centre this season compiling a 6-1-1 record along with a 1.97 goals against average and a .927 save percentage. He has not lost a game in regulation at home since Oct. 24 against the Lake Erie Monsters.

Petan Settling in:

Forward Nic Petan is off to a solid start in his AHL rookie season. Since joining the Moose after starting the season with the Winnipeg Jets, Petan has recorded 13 points (2G, 11A) in 15 games this season. The native of Delta, BC has six assists during a three game point streak. Petan leads the Moose in points-per-game averaging 0.87.

Dynamic Rookies:

The Iowa Wild have a few dynamic rookies of their own. Christoph Bertschy leads the Wild in scoring with 19 points (4G, 15A) in 32 games. The native of Fribourg, Switzerland has five points (1G, 5A) in his last six games. Fellow rookie Mike Reilly is third on the Wild in scoring and is currently on a five game point scoring streak and has nine points (3G, 6A) in his last seven games.
