Moose re-assign Harstad to Tulsa

The Manitoba Moose hockey club announced today that they have re-assigned defenceman Aaron Harstad to their ECHL affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers.

Harstad, 23, has played eight games for the Moose this season where he has registered 12 penalty minutes. He has also played eight games for Tulsa this season where has recorded two goals and four assists for six points.

Harstad played the previous four years at Colorado College where he registered nine goals and 21 assists for 30 points in 127 career games. The Stevens Point, Wisconsin native is in his first full season of professional hockey after he made his pro debut last season playing five games with St. John’s of the AHL.

He was the Winnipeg Jets’ seventh round selection, 187th overall in the 2011 NHL Draft.

The Moose will play their next game Wednesday, Jan. 13 against the Lake Erie Monsters at the MTS Centre at 7 p.m. CT.
