The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have recalled forward Mason Appleton from the Manitoba Moose.

He also led the Moose in scoring last season with 66 points (22G, 44A) in 76 games en route to winning the Dudley 'Red' Garrett Memorial Award as the AHL's Rookie of Year. He led AHL rookies in points and assists last season to be selected to the AHL's First All-Star Team and All-Rookie Team. In 95 career games with the Moose, Appleton has 84 points (30G, 54A).

Appleton was drafted by the Jets of the sixth round (168th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft.
