The Manitoba Moose, in conjunction with TSN 1290, are pleased to reveal the 2016-17 Manitoba Moose Broadcast Schedule.

This season’s schedule features 40 games airing on TSN 1290 beginning with the Moose Home Opener on Tuesday, Oct. 18 against the Bakersfield Condors at the MTS Centre starting at 6:45 p.m. CT.  All 76 regular season games and playoffs will be available online at moosehockey.com/listenlive and through the Official Manitoba Moose App.  Every Moose broadcast will begin with a pre-game show 15 minutes prior to puck drop and include a 15 minute post-game show following the game.

Mitch Peacock returns for his second season behind the mic calling Moose play-by-play.  Prior to his time with the Moose, Peacock announced hockey games in the AJHL, BCHL, WHL and ECHL.  He also spent six years as a sports anchor with CBC Winnipeg, four seasons as a rink-side reporter for Hockey Night in Canada, and three years as the host of Calgary Flames radio broadcasts.  This summer, Peacock provided play-by-play coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics for CBC.

Fans can also follow the Moose during the pre-season with both games in North Dakota against the Iowa Wild airing online at moosehockey.com/listenlive and through the Official Manitoba Moose App on October 8 starting at 6:45 p.m. CT and October 9 starting at 1:45 p.m. CT.
