The Manitoba Moose will play their fifth of eight meetings against the Milwaukee Admirals Saturday night from the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Moose lead the season series 3-0-0-1 and have won both meetings in Milwaukee this season.

Season Series:

The Moose kicked off the first three games of the season series by winning each game and all by the same scored of 3-2. Manitoba took the first two games in Milwaukee on Oct. 29 and Dec. 1 and followed that with another win in Winnipeg on Dec. 12. Milwaukee snapped the streak by defeating the Moose in a shootout by a 4-3 score on Dec. 13 at the MTS Centre.

Coming in Hot:

The Manitoba Moose are coming off their most successful home stand of the season this past week with a record of 3-0-1. Their recent success at the MTS Centre has improved their record at home to 5-5-2. The Moose will be back at home on Dec. 31 against Iowa for an eight game home stand.

Tight Games:

In the previous four meetings between these two teams the final outcome has always been determined by one goal. In the season series the Moose are averaging 3.0 goals per game while the Admirals are averaging 2.5 goals per game. In one goal games this season the Moose have a record of 5-2-1-2 including a road record of 2-1-0-1.

Defenceman Brenden Kichton made a huge impact this past week against San Antonio after missing the previous four games due to injury. Kichton had back-to-back multi point games registering a total of four assists in the two games. This past Thursday he was named the game’s first star. Kichton reclaimed the team’s point lead and now has 15 points (3G, 12A) in 21 games this season.

Putting up Points:

Patrice Cormier has been red hot for the Moose up front in his last two games recording three points (2G, 1A) against San Antonio this past Wednesday and Thursday. The Moncton, New Brunswick native has recorded at least one shot on goal in 15 of his last 16 games.
