Manitoba Made Day

By: Manitoba Moose Staff | Published: November 8th 2021

It’s a celebration of our great home province!

The Manitoba Moose take on the Texas Stars on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 2:00 p.m. for our very first Manitoba Made Day! We’ll be celebrating Manitoba all afternoon long. Make sure to arrive early to receive a limited-edition Manitoba Made sticker pack – your best chance all season long to take Manitoba Moose branding home with you to decorate for your home team.

If four stickers aren’t enough, we’ll be selling four additional limited-edition stickers for just $5 at the game! Available only through the Manitoba Moose Mobile App.

Fans will also be treated to a free bag of perogies on exit at the end of the game, provided by Perfect Pierogies! Perfect Pierogies is 100% Canadian, privately-owned and located in the town of Garson, Man.

Saturday's game also features local musicians Nelson Little along with Dan Scramstad and Genevieve Freynet performing on the Canada Life Centre concourse.

Thompson, Man.'s Nelson Little is a captivating songwriter and energetic performer. Little has made his way across the Canadian provinces, proving himself as one of the hardest working musicians around. Little, who is of Metis heritage, won the APCMA's Most Outstanding Manitoban award in 2014.

Geneviève Freynet, a Franco-Manitoban & Dan Scramstad, a proud Metis come together as a duo to present original roots-pop songs as well as some of their favourite covers.

The Moose will also host an eight-metre long synthetic curling rink to the concourse courtesy of Curl Manitoba to celebrate another one of the province's favourite winter sports.

Tickets for Manitoba Made Day are on sale now! Take advantage of the Me + 3 offer on Ticketmaster by purchasing four or more tickets!

The celebration gets started pre-game in the True North Square Plaza at noon. See you there!
