Moose sign trio of forwards

The Manitoba Moose hockey club announced today that they have signed forwards Brant Harris, Darik Angeli and Dan DeSalvo to professional tryout agreements.

Harris (photo above), 26, has recorded 17 goals and 15 assists for 32 points in 47 games with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL this season.

The native of Estevan, Saskatchewan has played 23 career AHL games split between Adirondack and Bridgeport where he has recorded three goals and five assists for eight points. He attended Moose training camp at the beginning of this season.

Angeli, 25, has six goals and nine assists for 15 points in 48 games with the Manchester Monarchs of the ECHL this season. He also played one game with the AHL’s Portland Pirates earlier this season.

The native of Lakewood, Colorado spent the previous four seasons at Ohio State University where he recorded 25 goals and 20 assists for 45 points in 128 career games.

DeSalvo, 24, has recorded 16 goals and 35 assists for 51 points in 55 games with the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL this season.

He spent the past four seasons at Bowling Green State University where he played 123 games and recorded 29 goals and 73 assists for 102 points.

The Moose will play their next game on Wednesday, Mar. 9 against the Iowa Wild at the MTS Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
