The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club celebrates its 20th season in Winnipeg during the 2019-20 AHL campaign.  With today's announcement of the 2019-20 AHL regular season schedule, the team is proud to reveal some of the details of the season-long celebration of Moose hockey in Manitoba.
As part of today's announcement, the Moose officially unveiled a commemorative 20th season logo that will be featured as a patch on the team's jersey all season.  The logo will also appear on merchandise, throughout the organization's marketing and promotions, and will be included in exciting giveaways.
Fans can join the conversation and share their favourite Moose memories on social media by sharing posts with the hashtag - #Moose20
The 20th season of Manitoba Moose hockey begins Oct. 4 in San Antonio against the Rampage.  The Moose then return to Bell MTS Place for their Home Opener Oct. 11 against the Toronto Marlies.
Fans can take the commemorative 20th season logo home on Nov. 15 when the first 3,000 fans through the doors at Bell MTS Place will receive a limited edition hat.
The celebration hits its peak Feb. 7 when the Moose host their '20th Season Game' against the Chicago Wolves.  The evening will acknowledge the accomplishments of alumni, dedication of fans and 20 years of history for the Moose in Winnipeg.  The first 3,000 fans at the arena will also receive a mini replica banner to mark the occasion.
The full Manitoba Moose 2019-20 promotional schedule will be revealed tomorrow, July 11.
The 2019-20 regular season schedule sees the Moose increase their divisional clashes from 48 to 60 matchups, alongside 12 games against Canadian rivals and four meetings with the Pacific Division's Colorado Eagles.
Once again, the Moose play the bulk of their home games on the weekend, including 12 Saturday matchups.  The team will play a total of 28 games on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.
The Moose wrap up their home schedule April 5 against the Grand Rapids Griffins, before finishing the regular season in Chicago on April 11.
