The Manitoba Moose (22-17-3-0) begin a four-game homestand with a matchup with the Calgary Wranglers (16-19-10-2) on Saturday. The Moose dropped a 4-3 decision to the Texas Stars on Feb. 7, their second consecutive loss. They are 5-4-1-0 in their past 10 games. Calgary fell 6-5 to the Tucson Roadrunners on the same day, moving their losing streak to five games.

Red White Hot
Mason Shaw ticked over from being red hot to white hot in his last outing, scoring a pair of goals on Feb. 7 at Texas to extend his point streak to seven games (6G, 2A). The seven-game heater is the longest active streak on the Moose, and doubles as the season-high on the club, with Walker Duehr’s active six-game streak (2G, 4A) serving as the second-longest in both categories. The Wainwright, Alta. native leads Manitoba with 30 points (15G, 15A) in his 41 games of action. Since the beginning of December, Shaw has scored 18 points (11G, 7A) in 20 games.
Here Comes the Push
The Moose have a busy end of their 2025-26 schedule, cramming their remaining 30 games into a span of 64 days, with their final contest of the campaign coming on Saturday, April 18 at Iowa. They’ll average 1.13 days of rest between games from now until the last day of the regular season. Manitoba currently stands 22-17-3-0, good for fourth in the Central Division. The Moose will play 16 of their final 30 games on home ice, including their first home meetings with the Calgary Wranglers, Toronto Marlies, and the Tucson Roadrunners. The Lahti, Finland native is currently riding a two-game point streak, recording an assist on Feb. 6, and scoring on Feb. 7 in a pair of games against the Texas Stars. Lambert has 13 points (6G, 7A) through 29 games with the Moose this season, tied with his countryman Ville Heinola for the seventh-highest points-per-game mark on the team (0.45). He played four NHL games this season, scoring his first career NHL goal on Nov. 1 vs Pittsburgh.
Home For Valentine’s
The Moose kick off a four-game homestand this afternoon against the Calgary Wranglers, hosting their Canadian rivals for a pair of games on Feb. 14 and 16, before welcoming the Iowa Wild to town on Feb. 21 and 22. Manitoba went 3-1-0-0 in their most recent stretch on home ice, scoring a victory over the Grand Rapids Griffins, before sweeping their two-game series against the Rockford IceHogs between Jan. 23 and Feb. 1. The Moose outscored their opposition 10-6 during the stretch, improving their home record on the season to 11-8-1-0. Mason Shaw leads the Moose with 14 points (6G, 8A) at Canada Life Centre this season.
