Fast Facts: Moose vs. Milwaukee – Feb. 16

The Manitoba Moose (14-27-1-1) continue their busy homestand by welcoming the Milwaukee Admirals (25-15-3-4) to Canada Life Centre today (2 p.m.). It's the sixth meeting of the season between the two clubs. The road team picked up wins in each of the past five clashes between the clubs, including three straight victories for the Moose. Manitoba is coming of a 4-2 loss to Texas on Friday, while Milwaukee won its fourth straight, 5-4 against Springfield.

It's Follow Your Dreams Day, presented by Scotiabank, at Canada Life Centre as the Moose celebrate indigenous youth in sport and culture at today's game. Check out the Artist Showcase on the concourse throughout the game. The team will wear specialty indigenized jerseys which will be auctioned in the days following the game. Double-Digits

Mason Shaw recorded his 10th goal of the season against the Stars on Friday. This marks his second goal over his past three games. Shaw becomes the second Moose skater to hit the double-digit mark in goals this season, alongside Parker Ford. Shaw currently co-leads the Moose with 20 points (10G, 10A) on the campaign so far. The Wainwright, Alta. product also leads all Manitoba skaters with 111 shots on goal.

Matchbox Twenty

Parker Ford recorded an assist in Friday’s matchup against the Stars. The Providence College alum has posted 20 points (13G, 7A) through the campaign so far, and has registered 11 points (9G, 2A) over his past 13 games. Ford leads the club in goals and co-leads the team in points alongside Mason Shaw. The Wakefield, RI native also ranks fifth on the Moose in points per game, leads all Manitoba skaters in both power play and shorthanded goals. He previously totalled 41 points (18G, 23A) in 72 appearances with the Moose as a rookie during the 2023-24 season.

Cogs Keep on Turning

Dylan Coghlan picked up a primary assist in Friday’s loss to the Stars, and is currently riding a three-game point streak. The Duncan, B.C. export has registered six points (4G, 2A) through his past three appearances. Coghlan becomes the third Manitoba defender to record a point streak of three or more games this season, alongside Dawson Barteaux and Dylan Anhorn. He has nine points (6G, 3A) in 13 games with the Moose this season, and leads the club in points per game. Coghlan also recorded a team-high six shots on goal against Texas on Friday and has recorded five or more shots on goal in seven of his thirteen outings with the club.

Back-to-Back

Ben King recorded his second goal in as many games on Friday. This marks King’s third time this season scoring in back-to-back games. The Vernon, B.C. product ranks third on the Moose with nine goals, and six of his tallies were recorded in back-to-back fashion. King has also registered four goals in five appearances against Texas this season. King holds 16 points (9G, 7A) this season, which is tied for sixth on the club. He also leads all Moose skaters with an 18 percent shooting percentage.

Isaak Phillips recorded an assist in Friday’s game against the Stars; his third helper since becoming a member of the Moose on Jan. 15. Overall, the Barrie, Ont. product has recorded 11 points (1G, 10A) in 39 games this season split between Manitoba and Rockford. Phillips ranks second among Manitoba defencemen in both assists and points.
