The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have agreed to terms with forward Wyatt Bongiovanni to a two-year, entry-level contract with an average annual value in the NHL of $802,500. His deal will begin in 2022-23 and he has signed an amateur tryout contract with the Manitoba Moose, who he will join for the remainder of the season.

Bongiovanni, 22, recently completed his senior season with the Quinnipiac Bobcats in the ECAC where he recorded 34 points (16G, 18A) and 45 penalty minutes in 42 games. The Birmingham, MI native captained the Bobcats in 2021-22 and led the team in goal scoring for the second time in the past three seasons. This season, Bongiovanni also became the first men's player in Quinnipiac history to be named to the NCAA's Senior CLASS Award First Team All-American.

Bongiovanni played 123 games over his four seasons with the Bobcats and recorded 90 points (50G, 40A) and 113 PIMs. He was a two-time ECAC Hockey All-Academic team (2018-19 and 2019-20) and also made the 2018-19 ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team. Bongiovanni played three seasons in the USHL prior to attending Quinnipiac and posted 79 points (32G, 47A) and 106 PIMs in 152 games.
