Jets Assign Jonsson-Fjallby to Moose

The Winnipeg Jets announced the team assigned forward Axel Jonsson-Fjallby to the Manitoba Moose. Winnipeg also recalled goaltender Arvid Holm from the Moose on an emergency basis.

Jonsson-Fjallby, 25, has 11 points (4G, 7A) in 45 games with the Jets this season. The Stockholm, Sweden product has 68 games of NHL experience under his belt between Washington and Winnipeg, recording 15 points (6G, 9A) in those contests. The forward also owns 152 games of AHL experience with the Hershey Bears and has tallied 75 points (40G, 35A) over that span. Jonsson-Fjallby was a fifth round pick (147th overall) of Washington in the 2016 NHL Draft.
