Jets Qualify Comrie & Nogier

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today the team has tendered qualifying offers to goaltender Eric Comrie and defenceman Nelson Nogier.

Comrie, 23, was named the Moose MVP for the 2018-19 season, posting a 25-16-4 record, supported by a 2.69 goals-against average and a 0.917 save percentage.  The Edmonton, Alta. native ranked second in the AHL in saves, fourth in minutes and tied for seventh in save percentage.  In his career, Comrie has appeared in a franchise record 183 games while compiling a 77-83-20 record to go with a 2.88 goals-against average, a 0.910 save percentage and eight shutouts.

Nogier, 23, suited up for 74 games with the Moose last season, totaling nine points (1G, 8A) and 48 penalty minutes.  The Saskatoon, Sask. product also played one game with the Winnipeg Jets.  In 147 career games with the Moose, Nogier has recorded 23 points (3G, 20A) and 87 penalty minutes, while also skating in 11 NHL games for the Jets.

Goaltender Ken Appleby, forward Marko Dano and defenceman Jimmy Oligny were not qualified by the Winnipeg Jets.
