Harkins & Heinola Assigned to Moose

The Winnipeg Jets announced today forward Jansen Harkins and defenceman Ville Heinola were assigned to the Manitoba Moose.

Harkins, 25, posted 13 points (7G, 6A) in 77 games with the Jets during the 2021-22 campaign. The Cleveland, Ohio native has suited up in 132 NHL games and has registered 22 points (10G, 12A) during that span. Harkins also has 156 career AHL games under his belt, all with the Moose. The forward has tallied 82 points (27G, 55A) over the course of those outings. He was named Manitoba's Most Valuable Player for the 2019-20 campaign and participated in the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic.

Heinola, 21, tallied 26 points (5G, 21A) in 41 games with the Moose during the 2021-22 season. He also added five points (1G, 4A) in five playoff games. The Honkajoki, Finland native tallied five assists in 12 games with the Winnipeg Jets. In 63 AHL contests, Heinola sports 38 points (9G, 29A) and a plus-nine rating. Heinola was a first round pick, 20th overall, of the Jets in the 2019 NHL Draft.
