Kristian Reichel Joins Moose Roster

The Winnipeg Jets announced today forward Kristian Reichel was assigned to the Manitoba Moose while forward Kevin Stenlund was placed on waivers with the intent of assigning him to Manitoba.

Reichel, 24, posted 13 points (5G, 8A) in 30 games with the Moose during the 2021-22 campaign. He also made his NHL debut with Winnipeg and went on to tally two points (1G, 1A) in 13 games. The Litvanov, Czechia native scored his first NHL goal Jan. 2, 2022 in Las Vegas during a 5-4 Jets win against the Golden Knights. Reichel has 153 career AHL games to his credit, all with the Moose. The forward has 52 points (25G, 27A) in those outings.

Stenlund, 26, skated in 42 AHL games with the Cleveland Monsters last season, marking down 25 points (8G, 17A) in 42 games. The Stockholm, Sweden product also appeared in three games with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Stenlund has appeared in 71 NHL games, tallying 20 points (11G, 9A) in his career. The 6'4, 215 lbs. forward has 70 points (29G, 41A) in 141 AHL contests and previously recorded 45 points (22G, 23A) in 151 SHL games.

With the addition of Reichel, the Moose roster now sits at 39 players including 23 forwards, 12 defencemen and four goaltenders. Click here to see the current roster.
