Jets Re-Sign Ashton Sautner

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have agreed to terms with defenceman Ashton Sautner on a one-year, two-way contract with an average annual value in the NHL of $775,000.
Sautner, 29, played 68 games for the Manitoba Moose in 2022-23 and recorded 12 points (2G, 10A) and 50 penalty minutes, before playing in all five Moose playoff games. The Flin Flon, Man. native has played 23 career NHL games for the Vancouver Canucks and recorded three assists and four PIMs. Sautner has appeared in 351 career AHL games while posting 74 points (16G, 58A) and 238 PIMs. He added 14 games in the AHL playoffs with six PIMs.
