Manitoba Moose to play in AHL’s new central Division

The Manitoba Moose, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, have announced that the Manitoba Moose will play in the Western Conference’s Central Division next season.

The Moose will play in the same division as: Charlotte Checkers (Carolina), Chicago Wolves (St. Louis), Grand Rapids Griffins (Detroit), Iowa Wild (Minnesota), Lake Erie Monsters (Columbus), Milwaukee Admirals (Nashville) and Rockford IceHogs (Chicago).

As the Winnipeg Jets’ affiliate, the St. John’s IceCaps were in the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference from 2011-15. The Moose played in the AHL’s Canadian Division from 2001-03 and the North Division from 2003-11.
