Poolman recalled by Jets

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg Jets announced today that they have recalled defenceman Tucker Poolman from the Manitoba Moose.

Poolman, 24, appeared in his first three career games for the Jets this season, making his NHL debut on Oct. 9 at Edmonton. The native of Dubuque, Iowa has also played seven games for the Moose in his first professional season and has one assist and four penalty minutes. Poolman finished his third season with the University of North Dakota in 2016-17 and had 30 points (7G, 23A) in 38 games as he captured the NCHC Defensive Defenceman of the Year. He totaled 72 points (20G, 52A) in 118 games with UND in his college career, which was highlighted by UND capturing the 2016 NCAA Championship.

Poolman was drafted by the Jets in the fifth round (127th overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft.
