Jets Reassign Heinola to Moose

The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team has assigned defenceman Ville Heinola to the Manitoba Moose.

Heinola, 20, has 10 points (4G, 6A) in 16 games with the Moose this season. Despite not having played in the AHL since March 13, Heinola is still tied for 12th in scoring among rookie defenders. The Honkajoki, Fin. product's four goals lead Manitoba defenders. In addition to his play with the Moose, Heinola has appeared in two games with the Winnipeg Jets this season. Heinola was a first round pick, 20th overall, of the Winnipeg Jets in the 2019 NHL Draft.
