Petan joins Jets on road swing

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, in conjunction with its AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have recalled forward Nic Petan from the Moose.

Petan, 21, has played nine games for the Manitoba Moose this season, recording five points (4G, 1A) and four penalty minutes.  The Jets selected Petan in the second round, 43rd overall at the 2013 NHL Draft.  Last season was Petan’s first pro season, he had six points (2G, 4A) in 26 games with the Jets to go along with 32 points (9G, 23A) in 47 AHL games with Manitoba.

The Moose host the Cleveland Monsters on Saturday in a rematch of Thursday's 7-3 Manitoba victory.  Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. at the MTS Centre.  It's Manitoba Moose 'Share the Warmth' Night presented by Red River Co-op.  Bring an item of winter clothing to donate to Siloam Mission and be entered to win the grand prize of a night in a premium suite at the Dec. 10 Moose game as well as a team autographed jersey.
