Moose Sign Forward Cole Maier

The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has signed forward Cole Maier to an amateur tryout.

Maier, 23, posted 32 points (9G, 23A) in 39 games in his fourth and final season at Union College.  The Pequannock, N.J. product was a finalist for ECAC Defensive Forward of the Year while finishing tied for ninth in the conference in points and tied for fourth in assists.  Maier was also named to the ECAC's Third All-League team and is a nominee for the conference's 2018-19 Student Athlete of the Year award.  During his collegiate career, Maier totaled 95 points (38G, 57A) in 133 games, and served as his team's captain the past two seasons.

Maier attended Winnipeg Jets Development Camp in 2018.
