San Diego Gulls vs Manitoba Moose

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, in conjunction with its AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have re-assigned defenceman Julian Melchiori to the Moose.

Melchiori, 24, played four games with the Jets after being recalled on Nov. 1. He has played eight games for the Manitoba Moose this season, recording four points (1G, 3A) and four penalty minutes. The Jets selected Melchiori in the third round, 87th overall at the 2010 NHL Draft. Last season Melchiori played in 11 games with the Jets and 62 games with the Moose registering seven points (3G, 4A).

The Manitoba Moose hit the road this week for a swing through the Pacific Division.  The five game road trip opens in San Diego on Friday when the Moose take on the Gulls in a 9 p.m. CT puck drop.  Listen in at moosehockey.com/listenlive beginning 15 minutes before puck drop.
