Moose announce roster moves

Winnipeg, MB – The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has recalled defenceman Tyson Wilson from the Tulsa Oilers (ECHL).  The club also released forward Darcy Murphy from his professional tryout.

Wilson, 25, played in 15 games with the Oilers prior to his call-up.  Over that span, the Brockville, ON native posted three points (1G, 2A) to go with 10 penalty minutes and a plus-seven plus/minus rating.  Last season, Wilson played in three games with the Moose when he signed a tryout agreement following a 145-game career at Robert Morris University (NCAA).

Murphy, 24, played eight games with the Moose on his tryout.  The Marysville, ON product scored his first AHL goal in his first game.  He also added an assist for a total of two points in his stint with Manitoba.  Prior to joining the Moose, Murphy had six points (4G, 2A) in seven games with Tulsa.
