The Moose put together yet another solid effort on Wednesday night against the Stockton Heat at the MTS Centre.

Manitoba swept the two-game series with a 3-2 victory.

The Moose jumped out to a big lead with three goals by the end of the second period.

The first, was just that for defenceman Jake Baker who scored his first career AHL goal to get the Moose on the board in the first period.

Darren Kramer scored his second goal in as many games and third goal in his last four games in the second period.

Team captain John Albert rounded out the Moose scoring with his goal with just 13 seconds left in the second period.

Stockton rallied with a pair of goals in the third period from Mitchell Heard and Kenny Agostino but goaltender Connor Hellebuyck shut the door the rest of the way.

The first Heat goal ended Hellebuyck’s consecutive shutout streak at 169:34.

The Moose will next play host to the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday, Mar. 26 at the MTS Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
