100 in Antlers

C.J. Suess scored the game-tying goal with 53 seconds left against Chicago on Sunday. The forward’s goal was his 100th career point as a member of the Moose, which makes him the 39th skater in Manitoba franchise history to achieve the feat. The Forest Lake, Minn. product is now up to 17 points (8G, 9A) in 64 games. The winger’s three game-winning tallies place him one shy from his previous career-high of four winners. Ville Heinola scored the overtime-winning tally on Sunday against Chicago. The goal, Heinola’s eighth of the season, was both his first game-winning and overtime-winning goal since the 2020-21 season when Heinola notched the extra time marker against Laval. The defenceman has posted 21 points (8G, 13A) in 36 games and has recorded a new career-high mark in goals. The Honkajoki, Finland product is closing in on 100 career AHL points with 96 points (21G, 75A) in 147 games with Manitoba. That mark places Heinola eighth on the Moose all-time points list among defenders.

Home Ice Advantage

Dating back to March 2, Manitoba has played five two-game series on home ice and produced a record of 7-2-1-0 while outscoring their opposition by a count of 37-28. In those home games, the Moose have recorded 11 goals on the man-advantage and two games with multiple power play tallies. Manitoba is led at home in scoring by Kyle Capobianco. The defenceman has tallied 28 points (8G, 20A) and holds a plus-20 rating on home ice.
