Toninato and Gustafsson Loaned to Moose
By: Manitoba Moose Staff | Published: February 12th 2024The Winnipeg Jets announced today the team loaned forward Dominic Toninato to the Moose. The Jets have also loaned forward David Gustafsson to the Moose for conditioning purposes.
Toninato, 29, has posted six points (2G, 4A) through nine games with Manitoba. The forward has accumulated 94 points (50G, 44A) in 167 AHL contests.The forward has also suited up in 15 games for the Jets this season and has tallied five points (1G, 4A) in those contests. Toninato has played in 184 NHL games, including 89 for Winnipeg, and he has posted 35 points (13G, 22A) and 79 PIMs in the league. He has also featured in six NHL playoff games and scored one goal for the Jets in the 2021 postseason.
Gustafsson, 23, has recorded four points (2G, 2A) in 27 games with Winnipeg this season. Gustafsson, Winnipeg’s second-round pick (60th overall) in the 2018 NHL Draft, has played 101 career NHL games and has tallied 11 points (3G, 8A) in that span. The forward has skated in 82 AHL games with Manitoba and produced 56 points (24G, 32A) and 16 PIMs
